There are different kinds of hair, like long, short, wavy, straight, frizzy, unmanageable, shiny, smooth, styles, textures and colors, but there is no person who has not experienced any hair problem. Here, I am going to discuss some of the very common hair problems that have been experienced by almost all the people, and I will also discuss some of the possible natural treatments that can help in saving the hair from damaging.
Gray Hair
Some people naturally have grey hair or start getting them at a very early age, while some consider it a sign of advancing age, and get them in 40’s upwards. It is due to the weakening of a hair pigment, due to the damage over the years, called as Melanin. This kind of hair is not liked by most of the people, and they need something to fix such hair. There is no solution for grey hair, because once you get them, you can never get them back, which is why it is always advised to take care of your hair from early years.
Solution
It cannot be cured once you start seeing them, but it is possible to cover them with the hair dyes for a little time.
Hair Loss
There is a regular cycle for hair growth, which consists of two phases, called as Anagen and Telogen. In Anagen phase, the hair grows for about 6 years or more, and this phase is all about the growth for a hair. The second phase is Telogen phase in which the hair rests for about three months, and at the end of the phase, the hair falls out and after then, it is replaced with the new hair. A person loses almost about 100 hairs each day, which is a normal hair loss. If a person uses drugs or has any disease, the hair fall may vary for him. For men, the hair fall starts at the top of the head, while for women, they start losing the hair from all the head, causing thinning of hair.
Solution
It can be cure with the use of medication, hormonal treatment, radiation, surgery, chemotherapy etc.
Hair Damage
There are several people, who use blow dryers, straighter, curler, highlights and hair-perming to treat their hair to make them beautiful, but they do not know how dangerous it is for them. Brittle, dry and broken hair with split ends are the very common hair damages almost everyone faces today due to over styling. Heat and over styling can damage the hair very badly, which is why it is recommended to limit them if you wish your hair to stay healthy. If the outermost layer of the hair is damaged, there is no other protection layer that can save them from any more damage, which is why; it is advised to not use any of the above-mentioned styling techniques every other day. Washing the hair too often, along with using a harsh shampoo or poor nutrition and using medications can lead to hair damage.
Solution
It can be reduced by using a soft and flexible brush for setting your hair, and never over brush them. The hair drying techniques must never be the use of hair dryers or towels because most of the people rub the hair harshly that can damage them badly. If you use towel, then gently rub your hair so they don’t break and fall apart. Another way to keep your hair away from damage is the use of deep conditioner once a week, at least, so the necessary nutrition can be provided to them. You need to eat healthy food as well to give a natural nutrition to your body and especially hair.
Greasy Hair
There is oil present on the scalp, called as Sebum, which is a natural element to lubricate the skin, produced by Sebaceous Gland. Some of the people have a production of oil produced by these glands, which make their hair greasy that don’t appear good, and the people have to wash their hair every day to get rid of the extra oil. This also depends upon the diet and food intake. The appearance of the hair can look dull, lifeless and limp, and they become more difficult to manage than other hair problems. Even washing them every day can also not provide the desired hair look, and you become very conscious for the parties or your special occasions when you wish to look good, but your hair spoil the fun.
Solution
It can be controlled by using a shampoo that is made with gentle ingredients, and is specially designed to control the oil on the scalp.
