Develop a habit of going out for a walk every morning and meditating for some time. This way your body and mind will not only stay active but also at peace. Also, engage in mental and intellectual games like chess and golf so that you can use all your senses and prevent them from getting weak fast.

Seniors usually go through the problems of constipation, increased cholesterol level and diabetes. Therefore, they need to change their diet so that they can prevent or address these issues. It is normal to feel insomniac or having a shorter span of sleep at an old age. If you feel restless because of either of the reasons, do not resort to sedatives. Once you are retired, get on the road for some adventure and relaxation rather than sitting back at home and letting your bones weaken.
