Nobody likes pimples. It disrupts the flawlessness of our face. It makes us look unhygienic. It can even leave scars on our skin forever. To add to that, these little buggers can be painful when infected.
Pimples may vary in size and have different causes like hygiene, hormones and puberty, but they are basically unpleasant. It is caused by reactive oil-producing glands on our skin that, due to excessive production of oil (which is, again, either caused by hygiene, hormones or puberty) that results in the clogging of pores and develops into pimples.
Blind Pimples
Everyone will agree that the most painful kind of pimples is the under skin pimples, or most commonly known as blind pimple. Blind pimples are caused by overactive sebaceous glands that secrete excessive oil under the skin, thus developing pimples also under the skin. These types of pimples are red in color and commonly grow behind the ears or on the tip of the nose.
Although sometimes you may be tempted to poke a blind pimple and squeeze it out to get rid of it right away, that is actually not a good idea. It can do more damage to your skin internally and externally than a surface pimple can. If you want a quick fix, follow these simple steps to remove under skin pimples without damaging your skin.

Begin with a warm compress
A warm compress is a first aid treatment for any form of skin or under-skin inflammation. Warm compress increases the blood circulation in that specific area. Antioxidants and healing properties in the blood travel quicker which makes the healing faster. Through warm compress, the pimple will start to open and excrete the fluid that has been amassed within and which is mostly the main cause why a pimple will last for days, even weeks.
Begin by soaking a clean cloth or towel in hot water. (Be careful with hot water.) With the cloth already wet, gently dab it on your pimple until the heat is bearable for your skin. Press the cloth to your skin’s surface and repeat process when the cloth cools down. Do this two or three times every day until the pimple is healed.
Aside from a simple cloth, you can also use a black tea bag soaked in hot water as warm compress. Black tea is packed with antioxidants and contains tannins which are compounds that reduce inflammation.

Use tea tree oil to remove blind pimples
When you combine a cure and a “prevention is better than cure”, for blind pimples, tea tree is the most effective home remedy to use. Tea tree oil contains antibacterial characteristics that help in killing the types of bacteria that causes all types of pimples, including blind pimples. Tea tree can also maintain the skin health and prevent more pimple outbreaks.
The chemical compounds in tea tree oil works like a cleanser. It goes through deep into the skin and into clogged pores. It cleanses these clogged pores which can also be a cause of pimples and acne.
Remember to dilute it first before you apply to your skin. Create your own facial cleanser by mixing 9 parts water and 1 part tea tree oil. Using cotton, soak it in the mixture and gently dab on your affected skin. Leave it for 10 minutes and gently rinse with water. Repeat this at least 3 times every day until positive results show.

Toothpaste method
Some would think that the toothpaste method is a myth but apparently, it does work. Although it does not fully heal and remove pimples right away, it can very well remove the pain and redness in a span of one day. Take note, however, that toothpaste contains chemicals that are not exactly for the face. So you will want to observe the reaction to your skin.
For blind pimples, choose only the white toothpaste. White toothpaste has clove oil or mint that can help ease the soreness of the pimple. Mint can also reduce the redness and size of the pimple.
To use white toothpaste, apply a small amount on the blind pimple and around it before you go to sleep. Leave it on your skin overnight. When you wake up, wash off the toothpaste with water. Repeat this process daily until the pimple heals.

Honey to reduce the blind pimple
When it comes to skin cleansing, removing of bacteria and infections, honey is your go-to substance. Honey has antimicrobial characteristics and is also an antiseptic. With the two properties working together, it makes honey a lethal substance for bacteria and other pimple-causing matter.
Honey also cleanses deep into the skin so that the pimples will not leave scars. You can use honey directly to your skin without mixing it with any other substance. Using a cotton ball, dip it into honey and gently dab on the pimpled area. Leave it on your skin for about 30 minutes and rinse off with lukewarm water. Follow this process two times every day for faster results.

Wash it with whole milk
Milk is great for the skin because it has properties to keep the skin soft and smooth. Aside from that, it can also help with your problems with pimples. Milk is packed with alpha hydroxyl acids or AHA which works by unclogging the pores and removing dead skin or oil.
You can use milk directly to your skin by using a cloth or cotton. Leave it on your skin for 10 to 15 minutes and rinse with water. Alternatively, you can use sliced bread and soak it in warm milk. Place the soaked bread inside a cloth and use this to dab on the pimple. Repeat any of the process two times a day.
